First Workout

I follow a blood flow restriction workout, which is a type of workout that allows you to play basketball for longer years. by allowing you to lift weights without actually lifting them.

In other words, this kind of training (also known as BFR) is something many people use, like Mark Wahlberg and Galen Rupp, and the idea behind it is right in its name:

You strap a band above a specific muscle so the amount of blood  that reaches and leaves the muscle during exercise is restricted. This acts as a simulation of weightlifting since you get the same “pump” at the end of the set.

He then does a shoot around to warm up for the game which usually takes place later in the evening.

Post Workout Recovery

As all good athletes, Giannis’s workout is followed by recovery in order to protect his muscles from injuries.

This mainly includes stretching and ice-baths or cold plunges.

Lunch

Giannis Antetokounmpo typically consumes a balanced lunch to support his rigorous physical demands.
